When I wen't shopping in Temple on Monday, I picked up this super cute pair of earings. They matched what I was wearing so I put them on right away. Now, as it turns out, my little stinker does not care for all day shopping trips as much as her Mommy does. She can handle a trip to HEB, but she just doesn't want to shop 'till we drop. Case in point- after going throug the mall, we had to stop at Walmart fall apart, where we were in the baby departnment, when Peyton threw the biggest screaming fit in the store. You know...the kind of fit that you hear and think to yourself "Oooh, if that were my child...." Yep, one of those tantroms. :( It's horrific. So, during this too much shopping break down, I am holding Peyton and she starts throwing her hands up like shes some kind of gangster, and hits my brand new earing- and it busts, and the beads go all over the floor. I was so upset. Somehow, we made it out of Walmart, and back into the parking lot. Then, it hit me...one nice thing about Temple is that the Mall and WM are basically in the same parking lot. I was able to run into the mall while Peyton stayed in the truck with Nanna, and exchange my earings out for the same pair. So, after a crappy shopping day, I still ended up keeping what I really wanted. Now...I need to figure out this two year old stuff...I don't ever ever ever want to have to deal with a breakdown like that again. So now, if you ever see me wearing these earings, you will know what I went through for them! :)
